On Sunday Trina attended Day 4 (the final day) of the GlobalSkin Conference in Prague before she headed back home.

Here is her report:

Day 4:

Championing Each Other: AI’s Power to "Listen, Learn, & Lift"

The final day started with a keynote speaker, Jeremy Foreman, Vice President of R&D AI, Data, and Analytics at Pfizer.

Jeremy spoke about the urgent need to improve skin health and how AI can support this by listening to more voices, speeding up treatment development, and making care more accessible.

The next plenary session "Introduction to AI" offered Patient Organisations a practical and engaging look into how artificial intelligence can support their work.

Stephen Redmond (Director & Head of Data Analytics and AI, BearingPoint Ireland) shared about the evolution of AI and demonstrated how tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and NotebookLM can streamline communication, automate tasks, and power up research efforts.

The final session of the day we had an engaging and insightful session in on "How patient advocacy organizations and industry can collaborate to improve the lives of those living with dermatological conditions". The session offered attendees the opportunity to hear about best practices in patient engagement, clinical trial design, and health policy advocacy. Trina asked the panel a question. More details to follow in her full report of the whole conference.
