On Thursday July 3rd Trina and John attended Day 3 of the British Association of Dermatology Annual Meeting
Here is Trina's report:
A quiet day today. John and Trina had some time to chat, which was a bonus, especially as it was the 1st time meeting face to face.
Not many doctors came to visit today, but the couple that did were great connections. One of them putting Trina in touch with some doctors in an area PEM Council were looking for in the UK. They even emailed her a few hours later! Pretty impressive.
Had an interesting conversation with HealthNet Homecare, and Trina will be following up with our Advisory team.
We had some great chats with other PSGs and got some ideas about our PEM Friends materials on our stand and we discussed what we could do differently next year.
Julie Van Onselen, our newest Advisory Group member, joined John and Trina at the stand during lunchtime. It was their first face‑to‑face chat, and lovely to chat with Julie over lunch.
Julie is a highly experienced Dermatology Lecturer Practitioner with over 30 years as a clinical nurse specialist in both primary and secondary care. Julie also leads educational projects.

Despite the slower pace, the day was fruitful in terms of building connections and generating ideas for future initiatives.
Until next year farewell from Trina, Hazel, Scott and John.
